Recently, myself and a few team members attended the PMI Conference held on the beautiful Gold Coast. For some, it might not seem the best investment to attend conferences that take you out of the office for two to three days. However, it was a great return on investment having that passion transfer to us as we witnessed the dedication and hard work of several project professionals across Australia.

Vector Recruitment partnered with PMI Australia to sponsor the Award of Social Impact – Project of the Year. A fitting partnership as I mentioned in my speech on presenting the award, Vector Recruitment was born out of the desire to have social impact, to make a difference and have a positive effect on the wellbeing of the community we operate in, personally and professionally.

After 23 successful years in New Zealand, under the umbrella of our counterpart Momentum Consulting, we have entered a new exciting phase to grow in the Australian market. Our area of specialization is within the IT and Business Transformation space and we are proud to be making a difference in many lives by providing consulting and resourcing services to projects within the public and private sector.

Our goal is simple: we want to do our part in making the project world of tomorrow even better than the project world of today. We are focused on identifying the best talent both locally and abroad, providing more options to our clients and better opportunities for our candidates. Our plan is all about helping you connect with the industry, to help you grow and be part of a better tomorrow.

We strive to better the lives of our clients, candidates and our consultants and inspire them to do the same, as WE ARE ALL GREATER TOGETHER. Because business success is about great people. We look forward to working with you.

Congratulations to the winner, NAB Co for taking away the title.  NBN Co also took home the title overall of Project of the Year.

NBN Co was established in 2009 to design, build and operate Australia’s wholesale broadband access network. Underpinned by a purpose to connect Australia and bridge the digital divide, NBN’s key objective is to ensure all Australians have access to fast broadband as soon as possible, at affordable prices, and at least cost.
